High Speed Chase Leads Police Through Twinsburg

An Aurora woman led police from Macedonia and Twinsburg on a chase that ended on Ravenna Road early on Monday, Aug. 1.
Donna Pinchot, 49, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and willfully fleeing and eluding officers.
At 3:03 a.m. a Twinsburg officer caught a car speeding eastbound on SR 82 near the former Chrysler plant driving 80 mph. The car was pursued by two Macedonia police cruisers.

The officer follwed the chase as Pinchot's speed reached 100 mph. Other officers assisted traffic at the Church Street and SR 91 intersections.
The car continued to speed down Ravenna road where it "abruptly came to a stop" near . Pinchot was ordered out of the car and did a field sobriety test before she was taken into custody.
