Kid's iPhone Stolen Out of Locker at Rec Center

The 14-year-old boy's phone was taken from his locker while he was playing basketball

The iPhone has finally come to Verizon and some people are so excited to get their hands on one, they'll steal it.

A 14-year-old Aurora boy and his mother went to police April 25 saying his new iPhone was stolen from the .

The boy went to the fitness center that afternoon and put all his things in a locker, including the $200 smartphone.

When he got back from playing basketball, he found his clothes and belongings all over the floor and his locker hanging open.

The thief made off with the iPhone and a pair of flip-flops.
