Men Play Blame Game During Drug Arrest
Police busted two men for possession of drugs during a traffic stop

If you get caught with drugs by the police, deny, deny, deny.
That was the response of two men after they were caught with drugs during a traffic stop on March 6.
Michael Andrews, 41, of Kent, was pulled over by police when they saw him "zig-zagging" while going east on I-480. As officers came up to the car they got a strong smell of alcohol coming from it.

Andrews said he and his friend, Kyle Griffin, 25, of Akron, were driving from Kent to Cleveland that evening. A background check on Andrews showed many drug and criminal charges.
Police asked if there were any drugs in the car and when they mentioned the K-9 unit, Andrews pulled out a bag of marijuana and a metal pipe with residue inside it.

The dogs searched the car anyway and uncovered a folded dollar bill with white powder on the floorboard, which was later found to be cocaine.
Neither Andrews or Griffin had any idea it was there and each blamed the other for it. Both were charged with possession.
Andrews was also charged with drug abuse, paraphernalia and weaving.
