Hundreds of teachers, fire fighters and other union supporters came from Twinsburg and surrounding communities for Thursday's rally

Hundreds trudged through a rain-soaked Twinsburg Township Square Thursday evening to show support for public workers across Ohio in .

The rally, created by the Twinsburg Education Association, saw educators and other public workers from communities all around gather to fight for their union rights.

SB5, if passed, would diminish more than 350,000 Ohio public workers’ rights to collective bargaining. It passed through the State Senate by a 17-16 margin last week and is expected to be reviewed by the Ohio House this week.
