Recall on Heinen’s Brand Crab Dip
The dip being recalled has a sell-by expiration date of July 29 and was pulled from store shelves on Monday, co-president said

Heinen’s is recalling a batch of its store-brand crab dip. Heinen's has a location in Twinsburg near the Solon border.
Co-president Tom Heinen said the dip, part of the “Heinen’s Own” brand, was made at the company’s in-house manufacturer. A small piece of the tool used to mix the dip had come off during production. Heinen said that while the chip has already been found in one of the dips, the company decided to recall the entire batch.
The batch being recalled has a sell-by expiration date of July 29, Heinen said.
