Summit Snapshot: Misdemeanors to Cucumbers, Community Service Garden Flourishing
The garden at the Stow Municipal courthouse serves as a means for offenders to complete public service
The community service garden had its first "harvest" this week.
To help in the creation of the court's , The Ohio State University Master Gardener Grants Committee awarded the court with $650.
Judge Kim Hoover harvested 10 cucumbers and Bailiff Beth Magelaner, who wrote the grant application for the garden, delivered the produce to the Battered Women's Shelter.
