The Agenda: Council Will Discuss Bids for City Projects
A Twinsburg High School student will also be appointed to the Parks and Recreation Board

City Council has a lighter agenda to discuss when they meet tonight at the . The Council Caucus will start at 7 p.m. and the actual meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Two issues on the table tonight are resolutions to accept bids on city projects. Council will vote to accept the bid of J.D. Striping and Service in Ravenna to maintain pavement markings throughout the city. The bid is for $61,700.
They will also look at a bid from BDI, Inc. of Solon for an open screw pump to be installed at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Screw pumps are typically used to lift large amounts of wastewater at low heads. The cost of the project is around $60,000.

Council will vote on welcoming a new member to the Parks and Recreation Board. Scott Effross, a junior at Twinsburg High School, will be a teen member of the board until June 30, 2012. Look for a feature on Effross later this week.
Council will also vote to put an ordinance on the November ballot asking voters to decide whether or not .
