Twinsburg Man Accused of Punching Teenage Girl
A 17-year-old Twinsburg girl told police she was pushed down and hit by an 18-year-old man

On May 10 police got a call from a 17-year-old Twinsburg girl who told them she was just hit in the face by a man at Birchwood Drive.
She told officers she was hanging out with an 18-year-old Twinsburg man earlier that day. She said he was making derogatory comments toward her and she slapped him in the face. That's when he pushed her to the ground and punched her, she told police.
Officers located the man and got his side of the story. He said he was at the Sheetz on East Aurora Road when she showed up and started arguing with him. He said she started slapping and hitting him in the parking lot.

He left to go home, where he said she found him and started hitting him again. That was when he pushed her to the ground and punched her in the face. Officers did notice he had red marks on both his face and chest.
The man was charged with disorderly conduct and fighting.
