Twinsburg Man Cuts Himself After Drinking and Using Cocaine
The man called Veteran Affairs because he was cutting himself

An officer from the Veteran Affairs office called Twinsburg Police with an alarming report Feb. 18.
A 39-year-old Twinsburg man called the Veteran Affairs Psychiatric Emergency Room to tell them he was cutting himself.
Police went to the man's Warren Parkway apartment and knocked on the door. He came to the door with his hands in the air, and that was when officers noticed a large gash in his left forearm.

He told them he cut himself with a razor blade and that it wasn't his first time doing it. He then asked police to take him to the VA hospital.
An emergency medical team arrived at the apartment and began attending to the man. While he was treated, he told police he drank a 12-pack of beer in only two hours and had taken crack cocaine.

He was taken to Bedford Hospital for further treatment.
