Twinsburg Schools Take Hit From State Budget Cuts
Ohio Office of Budget and Management released figures last week for Ohio's school districts

Even though the state's budget isn't finalized, some figures show it will have a deep impact on the next year.
Figures released by the Ohio Office of Budget and Management last week show state assistance to Twinsburg is projected to decrease by 21 percent, or nearly $800,000, for fiscal year 2012.
The total funding the district received in 2011 fiscal year was around $3.8 million. The total in 2012 will be just under $3 million.

The news isn't all bad, however, as the figures show an increase in the 2013 fiscal year. The district is projected to receive $3.3 million in 2013, an increase of 10 percent over the previous year.
