Visit our Toastmasters Club to see how our supportive learning environment creates the perfect space to make progress with your speaking skills. We have a structured setting where each member progresses at their own pace. The Competent Communicator manual guides you through a series of 10 speeches, each focusing on a different aspect of public speaking, such as Organize your speech, Vocal Variety, and Using gestures, for example.
Why not be our guest and experience the dynamic of a regular meeting. Everyone has an opportunity to speak; either with a prepared speech of 5-7 minutes, or another of many roles where you get a chance to speak; i.e. evaluator, timer, thought of the day, jokemaster, for example.
