Twinsburg Businessman Linked to Cuyahoga County Corruption
The leader of a Twinsburg-based financial planning company has been charged in the investigation

Charles Randazzo, 62, of Solon, and a leader at the Financial Network of America (FNA), a Twinsburg-based financial planning company, has been charged for allegedly exchanging favors to public officials for Cuyahoga County's business, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's office.
It said between the year 2000 and July 28, 2008, Randazzo, through FNA, allegedly provided former county Commissioner Jimmy Dimora and former county Auditor Frank Russo with food, wine, sporting event tickets and outdoor furnishings.
Randazzo also provided Dimora and Russo each $1,079.14 in June 2004, toward the purchase of palm trees for their backyards.

Dimora selected FNA as the county's deferred compensation provider in 2004.
Randazzo also provided Dimora and his friends with gifts from 2004 to 2008, during which Dimora funneled more business toward FNA.
