Monthly Gentle Yoga Workshop 11/17/2026 (osu.edu) — Adult cancer survivors and caregivers in Upper Arlington can attend a free gentle yoga workshop on November 17 at the James Cancer Supportive Care at the Bob Crane Community Center on Tremont Road. The session, also available virtually, focuses on posture, alignment, and accessible modifications that can be done sitting or standing, with no prior yoga experience required and free on-site parking.
2. See highlights from Thomas Worthington vs. Upper Arlington field hockey (dispatch.com) — Upper Arlington field hockey fans can scroll through a full photo gallery from the Golden Bears' Sept. 9 matchup at Thomas Worthington, spotlighting players like Vivian Swary, Caroline Overmyer, and Peyton Garvey. 3. Central Ohio events planned to honor 25th anniversary of 9/11 (dispatch.com) — Upper Arlington residents can join the Central Ohio 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Marv Moorehead Memorial Stadium on Sept. 13, honoring fallen first responders with a symbolic 110-story climb. The piece also highlights numerous other remembrance ceremonies, prayer services, stair climbs, and performances across central Ohio, many free and open to the public, throughout Sept. 9–13.
4. Severe thunderstorm warning issued for central Ohio counties (kentucky.com) — A recent severe thunderstorm warning for Franklin, Fairfield, and Licking counties specifically included Upper Arlington among the communities at risk from 60 mph winds and possible damage to trees and power lines.
