3 Prostitution Charges In 2 Days In Westlake, Police Say
Three women have been arrested on suspicion of soliciting prostitution at two motels in Westlake.
WESTLAKE, OH — Westlake police say they made three prostitution arrests this past week. Both incidents involved suspects advertising their services online and using a Westlake motel for business.
The first incident happened May 1 at 7:30 a.m. Officers learned a woman was advertising prostitution services online at the Red Roof Inn on Clemens Road, police said. The room was identified and the woman was stopped in a vehicle leaving the area. The woman had a female passenger in her car.
Both women admitted to soliciting for prostitution, police said. Officers arrested both women, a 30-year-old and 31-year-old from Cleveland. Both women were also charged for possession of suspected ecstasy that was found in their car.

The next day, on May 2 at 7:30 a.m., police learned that another woman was advertising prostitution services online, this time using the Super 8 Motel on Sperry Road as a base of operations.
Police went to the motel and caught the woman as she was walking out of her room. Police said th woman, a 24-year-old from Cleveland, was arrested and charged with soliciting for prostitution.
