4 Cars Rifled Through In Westlake

Police said the suspects escaped in an SUV that sped down I-90 at 2 a.m.

WESTLAKE, OH — Last week, three men were seen running through Westlake at 2 a.m. Officers then discovered four vehicles had been rifled through and loose change was stolen.

On September 3, an Allen Drive resident saw three people running down his street. It was 2 a.m., so they called police and reported the suspicious activity.

Officers couldn't find the men but did see a silver SUV, with out-of-state license plates, prowling around the Mendelssohn Drive neighborhood.
