6 April Dates For Westlake Parents And Students

WESTLAKE, OH - April showers do more than portend May flowers. They also signify the return of the sun to Northeast Ohio and call forth the boys of Summer. Soon, warmer temperatures and bright blue skies will grace the region, and parents will be thinking of how they'll fill their time once school is out.

Westlake parents will want to stay on top of a few upcoming dates, namely the district's Spring Break. Students will enjoy a little more than a week off near the beginning of April. The time off is sandwiched between end-of-course exams.

There are also a lot of fun events coming up for Westlake students and parents alike. The all-city Shakespeare festival will be held April 1 (which is not a joke) at Westlake High School. There will also be a speaker from the FBI and plenty of sporting events to keep everyone busy.
