8 Westlake Students Named Commended Students
They are among the 34,000 high scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT to be recognized for their outstanding academic promise.

WESTLAKE, OH - Westlake High School seniors Mark Sargent, Jeremy McCabe, Carter Hoon, Katarina Jamsek, Justin Krantz, David Eppele and Christopher Slater and 2016 WHS graduate Bradley Katcher were named National Merit Commended students.
They are among the 34,000 high scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT to be recognized for their outstanding academic promise. Commended Students placed in the top five percent of students taking the PSAT/NMSQT. National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) is a not-for-profit organization that operates without government assistance and was established in 1955 specifically to conduct the annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
