• Police from 4 communities respond to wedding reception fight in Westlake (cleveland.com) — Police from Westlake and three neighboring cities responded to a large fight that broke out during a wedding reception at La Centre Banquet Facility on Detroit Road. Several guests were arrested on charges including assault, inducing panic, and aggravated menacing, two people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, and the case is now with the Westlake prosecutor for possible additional charges.
   

• Westlake police seize loaded handgun, arrest passenger during traffic stop (cleveland.com) — Westlake police say a routine traffic stop on Sperry Drive uncovered a loaded handgun and led to the arrest of a Cleveland man barred from possessing firearms. Officers reported signs of drug use, found the gun in the glove compartment, and charged the passenger with a new felony weapons-under-disability count while clearing the driver of knowledge of the weapon.
   

• Former nurse's aid facing felony charges for stealing from blind resident, Westlake police say (cleveland19.com) — Westlake police say they arrested a former nurse's aid accused of withdrawing thousands of dollars from an 86-year-old blind woman's bank account using her credit card. Investigators traced five ATM withdrawals made at a Westlake bank, identified the suspect from surveillance video, and report she was fired from the North Olmsted nursing facility and now faces felony theft-related charges.
