• 'Just a little bit': 20-year-old Fairview Park man arrested, cited for OVI after crash into Westlake church bushes (cleveland19.com) — A late-night crash into the bushes at St. Ladislas Church on Bassett Road led Westlake police to arrest a 20-year-old Fairview Park man on OVI and marijuana possession charges. Officers say he appeared intoxicated, admitted drinking "just a little bit," refused field sobriety tests, and was also found with a fake Pennsylvania driver's license before being released to a sober person.
• Northeast Ohio high school football scores for Week 5: Friday, Sept. 17, 2026 (cleveland.com) — Westlake football fans can see how the Demons fared in Week 5, with North Olmsted topping Westlake 35–25 in Friday night action.
