Andrew R. “Bart” Bartko, 89, World War II Veteran

Andrew R. “Bart” Bartko, 89, of Westlake, a General Electric retiree, World War II Navy veteran and Benedictine High School graduate, died Aug. 25.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy (nee Deemer); children, Nancy Schneider, Diane, William A. and Andrew K.; two grandsons and two great-grandsons.

Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, at , 32000 Detroit Road, Avon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at , 2345 Bassett Road, Westlake.
