Authentic Mexican Restaurant Opening In Crocker Park

WESTLAKE, OH — Cantina Laredo, an authentic Mexican restaurant, is slated to open in Crocker Park later this month. The business said is hiring about 100 employees, for jobs ranging from cook to bartender to host.

“We’re excited to bring this concept to Crocker Park and the surrounding area,” said local General Manager Mark Watson. “Cantina Laredo serves Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. This is unlike anything else in the area. We provide our guests with an authentic taste of Mexican cooking by using fresh ingredients and preparing everything in-house. Without a doubt, Clevelanders who want to experience exciting and distinctive Mexican cuisine will find it here.”

Cantina Laredo serves authentic Mexican food, inspired by the cuisine of Mexico City. The Crocker Park location will be 6,802 square feet and will seat more than 230 guests. There will also be a heated and cooled patio where patrons can enjoy the sights and sounds of the shopping complex.

Menu items will include dishes like Chilean Sea Bass, served with a jalapeno beurre blanc sauce; Carnitas in a smoky chipotle wine sauce served with charred street corn and black beans; and Top Shelf Guacamole, prepared fresh tableside. Complimentary chips paired with two hand-crafted salsas are provided to each guest table.

“Cantina Laredo will be a fantastic addition to our Comet Alley district of property later this month,” said Dan Crandall, director of marketing for Crocker Park. “We look forward to having their unique concept of creating authentic Mexican cuisine with a modern flair and aesthetic which will mix well with the lively and upbeat atmosphere of Crocker Park!”

Cantina Laredo is located at 2004 Crocker Park Road. The restaurant will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
