Bank Inside Giant Eagle Robbed In Northeast Ohio
The FBI believe a man has robbed two banks inside Northeast Ohio Giant Eagles over the past week.
FAIRVIEW PARK, OH — A man robbed the Huntington Bank inside the Fairview Park Giant Eagle on Tuesday, the FBI announced. Investigators believe the same man robbed another bank in Broadview Heights last week.
The robbery in Fairview Park happened at 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday. A man walked into the grocery store, went to the bank and handed a demand note to the teller. The teller handed over cash and the man left. No one was hurt during the robbery.
The suspect is a white man, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a gray long sleeve sweatshirt, a black T-shirt underneath, dark pants, a dark baseball cap, a fake wig and dark sunglasses. He was carrying a messenger bag.

The FBI believes the man got into a large, old van. The vehicle is gold or beige in color and had a dark-colored driver's door that did not match the rest of the van.
Last Thursday, the Huntington Bank inside the Broadview Heights Giant Eagle was robbed. Investigators believe the same suspect hit both banks.

Tips can be provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI, Fairview Park police or Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous and reward money is available for information leading to the identification and prosecution of the bank robber.
