Bank Robbed In Westlake, FBI Searches For Suspect
The man told a teller he had a gun and escaped with cash.
WESTLAKE, OH — A man robbed a Key Bank in Westlake on Friday evening. The man escaped with cash and the FBI have released photos of the suspect.
The robbery happened at 530 p.m. on Friday. A man dressed in dark winter clothing walked into the bank, at 1411 Columbia Road, and handed a demand note to a teller. The note said the man wanted cash and said the man had a gun.
The teller gave the man money and the suspect fled. No one was hurt during the robbery.
