Banyan Tree Opening in Westlake at Crocker Park

The Tremont-based retailer prides itself on environmentally conscious fashion-forward women's clothing, modern housewares and gifts for men.

WESTLAKE, OH - Banyan Tree, the Tremont-based retailer, will celebrate the grand opening of its fourth Cleveland-area store at Crocker Park on Saturday, December 10 from noon to 6 p.m.

As part of its December 10 Grand Opening Celebration, shoppers who attend the event will be entered to win in-store prizes, merchandise and gift cards. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day at the store, located at 162 Main Street, next to The Loft.

“We have a strong, loyal clientele from Cleveland’s Westside, so we are thrilled to offer them greater access to our unique selection,” said founder Christie Murdoch. “We also look forward to expanding Bayan Tree’s customer base by introducing our line of fashionable, inspiring offerings to Westside shoppers who might not have had the opportunity to visit our existing stores.”

The Banyan Tree opened its first store in 2001, in the Tremont neighborhood. The store prides itself on its Fair Trade products and environmentally-conscious clothing.

We look for like-minded partners who want to make their community a better place,” Murdoch said. “Our customers trust that when they make a purchase it is not only the highest quality, but they are making an impact and a connection to our local and global communities.”

In addition to the Tremont and Crocker Park stores, Banyan Tree also has stores in Cleveland’s Uptown and on the Eastside at Legacy Village.
