Bar Louie Set to Open St. Patrick's Day

Restaurant will feature drink and food specials, plus live entertainment.

is planning to open with a bang the weekend of St. Patrick's Day, offering green beer, live music and free food. The neighborhood restaurant and bar will occupy the 6,501 square-foot space formerly occupied by Blake's Seafood at 9 Main Street at .

"We've been looking at Cleveland area and Crocker Park is a great lifestyle center," said Hillary Shahbabian, Bar Louie spokesperson. "There's great traffic and it fits our demographic of young professionals very well." 

The grand opening party on Saturday will feature $2 green beers, with the celebration continuing March 19 through 25 with $2 martini specials and a free small plate per customer between 6 and 9 p.m.

"The party for the grand opening is to really set the tone and kick off upcoming promotions," Shahbabian said. Happy hour specials and other promotions will begin running the following week. "[St. Patrick's Day] is just a very fun holiday. Everyone will be decked out in their green T-shirts and it should be a great environment."

The Crocker location will have the same menu, pricing and promotions as the downtown Cleveland and Lyndhurst locations, Shahbabian said, like $1 Burger Night on Tuesdays and $1 Budweisers all day Wednesday.

Bar Louie's Crocker location seats about 200 people and will be open for lunch and dinner, offering the full menu from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
