Barnyard Animals And Yoga: A Cool Combo Coming To Crocker Park
Goats, deer, sheep, alpaca, pigs and other animals may join yoga enthusiasts at the shopping center. Tell us that doesn't sound fun.

WESTLAKE, OH β Yoga enthusiasts are in for a treat. On Saturday, September 22, "BarnYard Yoga" will return to Crocker Park β giving participants the chance to play with alpacas while nailing a downward dog pose. What's not to love about that?
βSometimes, you have to let loose and have some fun, and that was the goal of bringing BarnYard Yoga to Market Squareβ said Dan Crandall, director of marketing for Crocker Park. βWe are excited to host this unique event and help support the great efforts Downs on the Farm does on a daily basis to help both animals and children in need.β
The event is the result of a partnership between Crocker Park and local nonprofit Downs on the Farm. The 60-minute yoga session will start at 12 p.m. and costs $27. Tickets include free admission to Downs on the Farm's escape room, located on their farm in Amherst.

Downs on the Farm said it could bring goats, deer, sheep, alpaca, pigs or other animals to the event. If the weather turns nasty, the event could be rescheduled.
Downs on the Farm was started by Shawna Hodges. The nonprofit works to enrich the lives of children with special needs and make homes for neglected and unwanted animals. Downs on the Farm offers animal and farm-based activities on a 55-acre sanctuary farm.
