Bay Village Medical Student Lands Prestigious Board Position

David Johnson will be the student representative on the Northeast Ohio Medical University Board of Trustees.

BAY VILLAGE, OH — Second-year medical student David Johnson has been appointed to the Northeast Ohio Medical University Board of Trustees by Governor John Kasich. His term on the Board will continue through 2020.

“Born and raised in Ohio, I have always been involved in various civic organizations, including Buckeye Boys State and the Cleveland Leadership Center. To me, leaving things better than I found them is something I try to do no matter where I am in life,” said Johnson.

The medical student said he would, as a board member, try to convey the sentiment of the student body whenever it could and should shape the future of the university.
