Bicentennial Plaque Dedication Set For Nov. 3

The plaque commemorates all of Westlake's government officials.

City officials past and present will dedicate a bicentennial plaque at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at .

The plaque will commemorate government officials from Westlake's past, all the way back to the days of Dover Township.

"We're trying to invite anyone who has served as a city official and/or their families," said Mayor Dennis Clough.

Light refreshments will be served at the ceremony.

Anyone who has served as a city council member, a trustee, clerk, mayor or any other official capacity can contact Denise Rosenbaum, clerk of city council, at 440-617-4053 or by email for an invitation.

The regularly scheduled city council meeting will follow the dedication ceremony at 8 p.m.
