Bill McCracken joins NCCW Board of Directors

Bill McCracken joins Gene Fox, Trey Bell, Carl Kosakowski, Bob Maupin, and Tom McElwaine on the NCCW Board of Directors

Everybody welcome,  Bill McCracken, to the NorthCoast Community Woodshop Board of Directors. Bill is the newest person to join NCCW's BOD and he comes to us from across town with a lot of experience. Bill lives in Highland Heights. He  is a retired engineer and a member of the NC Wood Turning Club as well as a member of the Saw Dust Club.

Bill has been involved in many projects in wood in the past and since he has retired he has been looking for a place in the area to continue his love of working in wood. He heard about NCCW from an ad that a couple of NCCW volunteers wrote and placed on Craig's List. Bill is also willing to teach members in his area of expertise which is wood turning (on a lathe) and wood joining, mortise and tenon and dove tailing to name a few. Bill has already jumped right in helping us to finalize our bylaws and to produce an electronic drawing of a proposed floor plan layout.

Bill is going to be a real assest to all of us in helping to get NorthCoast Community Woodshop organized and ready for business.
