Elementary School Happenings

There are a lot of exciting things happening for students as the school year nears an end, and since the summer is going to fly by due to an earlier start in August, kids are having fun, getting ready to move onto the next grade and spend some good times with their friends.

I will list upcoming events for each school, over the next few days today we are going to begin with .

Mary Flanagan, the principal, is going to retire after 41 years of service as a teacher and the past 24 years as principal at the school, Hilliard will be hosting an open house at the school on June 5th, from 2-4 p.m. All Hilliard alumni and the community are invited to say good bye to Miss Flanagan.

Staff Appreciation Luncheon: Friday May 6th

Hilliard PTA Installation Luncheon: Thursday May 26th at at Crocker Park.

Pre-school Ice Cream Social: Tuesday May 24th at ... morning and afternoon

Last Day of School for Pre School is Thursday May 26th

Hilliard Field Day is May 31st.

And that's what is happening at Hilliard Elementary. Tomorrow I will post the happenings at Holly Lane Elementary.
