Burglars Ransack Westlake Home
Police said they found signs of forced entry at a home on Hilliard Boulevard.
WESTLAKE, OH — A home on Hilliard Boulevard was ransacked by a burglar, police believe.
The burglary happened in the waning days of June. The resident came home just after midnight on June 30 and found their home in disarray.
Police were called to the scene and found signs of forced entry to the house. An inventory is still in progress, but police suspect the burglars were after jewelry and cash inside the home.

According to police, there haven't been any major updates in the case. Officers are trying to gather surveillance footage from nearby homes, a spokesperson for Westlake police told Patch.
