Burglars Snatch Electronics From Westlake Home

Police said a Walden Drive homeowner was targeted by burglars last week.

WESTLAKE, OH — A home was burglarized on Walden Drive last week, Westlake police said. Investigators believe two people were involved in the crime.

On Wednesday night, police were called to a home on Walden Drive. The resident told police someone knocked on her door around 10:30 p.m. She got up and went to the door, a person walked into her house through a back sliding door.

The burglar grabbed an electronic device and then ran out of the house.

Police said the burglar was a white man wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a mask. The mask obscured much of his face, police said.

Officers collected evidence from the Walden home and are still investigating. Police believe there were two people involved in the burglary.
