Car Crashes Into KFC In Westlake
The driver told police they meant to hit the brakes, but punched the accelerator instead.

WESTLAKE, OH — The KFC on Columbia Road was briefly shut down last week after a car slammed into the side of the building.
Callers reported a car accident at the fast food restaurant on Feb. 27. When police arrived they found that a 78-year-old driver had crashed into the side of the KFC.
The driver told police he had hit the accelerator when he meant to hit the brake. Luckily, no one was hurt in the accident.

The Westlake Fire Department briefly closed down the KFC so officials could evaluate the structural damage. The restaurant has since reopened.
