Car Drives Over Front Lawns In Westlake: Police

Westlake police said the car's driver ran into a house and refused to speak to police.

WESTLAKE, OH — Callers said there was a "disturbance" at the Loco Leprechaun on Center Ridge Road on Jan. 20. When police arrived, at about 10:30 p.m., one of the men involved in the disturbance drove off in a car.

Officers pursued the man's car down Center Ridge and onto Canterbury, near Hilliard. Police put on their sirens to try and pull the car over, but the car continued driving.

The car then jumped the curb and drove over front lawns on Canterbury before parking in front of a house. The driver ran inside of a house and would not answer the door, police said.
