Car Parks Between Houses In Westlake, Driver Overdoses: Police
According to Westlake police, a car was found between two homes on Arthur Avenue. The driver was turning blue when officers arrived.
WESTLAKE, OH - An anti-overdose remedy was given to a man that was turning blue outside a Westlake home last Tuesday.
According to police, at about 1 p.m., an Arthur Avenue resident called 911 and said there was a car parked on the lawn between his and his neighbor's house. He said the driver appeared to be slumped over the wheel of the car, and the engine was still running.
When police arrived, the 33-year-old man in the car was turning blue. The fire department was also on the scene and gave the man Narcan, an anti-overdose drug.

The 33-year-old regained consciousness after getting the Narcan dose. He told police that he had been snorting heroin prior to the accident.
Investigators believe the man drove backward through several yards, hit a utility pole and was then found parked between the two homes on Arthur Avenue.

The man was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police said he was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs, failure to control a vehicle, and not wearing a seatbelt.
