2) The starts at 6 p.m. today on Detroit Road in Avon. The casino will be open until midnight and singer/songwriter Steve Vanderink will play from 8:30 to 11 p.m.

3) The Pop Tarts will be playing all of the best from 60s girl groups and female pop singers from 6 to 8:30 p.m. tonight on the Sunset Stage at . It's a free outdoor concert, so be sure to bring a blanket!

5) Congratulations to the library's Senior Outreach Facilitator Kris Netzel who recently won an Ohio Library Council  John Philip Outreach Award. Netzel will receive her award at a luncheon in October.
