Gifted Referral Starts For Westlake Schools
The school system gives parents and teachers two chances throughout the year to make referrals.
The Westlake city schools are accepting referrals for students to enter the Westlake Instructional Network for Gifted program starting in February through the 24th.
W.I.N.G.S. offers a resource room and enrichment materials at the elementary level, self-contained classrooms for major subjects at the intermediate level, accelerated math and language arts classes at the middle school level and honors and advance placement courses at the high school level.
Packets of information and referral forms are available from the main office of every building. They may also be found on the Westlake City School District website, and in the PDF attached to this article.
