Crocker Park Adds First National Bank

The bank will feature a bevy of digital services, including a Smart ATM and a tech bar.

WESTLAKE, OH — First National Bank has opened a new location in Crocker Park. The bank's office will be 4,500 square feet and will feature technological services like the new digital interactive Solutions Center and a tech bar, which will provide hands-on demonstrations of First National's product suite and digital banking services.

The branch will be managed by Johnny Sikora, a spokesperson for First National told Patch in an email. The new branch is built around the bank's "clicks-to-bricks" strategy, which designs branches to be more open, bright, and inclusive of digital banking services. The company announced its digitally inclusive strategy in early 2016 and began rolling out improvements and upgrades to branches.

The Westlake branch of First National will also have a Smart ATM, which will accept deposits without envelopes. There will also be traditional drive-thru service. "We want to encourage a more advisory and consultative experience through a combination of easy-to-use and easy-to-access products including our digital interactive Solutions Center, tech bar and Smart ATM," said Jennifer M. Reel, senior vice president of corporate communications for First National in an email to Patch.

First National opened another new Northeast Ohio branch in Hudson recently. "We are always evaluating our branch network to make sure we are serving customers effectively. Westlake is an attractive and thriving community, which helped facilitate our decision to expand and build one of our new concept branches in the area," Reel said.
