WESTLAKE, OH — Looking for a part-time job? The city is still hiring crossing guards for the upcoming school year. Crossing guards will work about three hours a day (1.5 hours in the morning and 1.5 hours in the afternoon) and make between $10.21 - $18.38 per hour.

To snag the job, applicants must be at least 18-years-old, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to stand for 1.5 hours at a time. Crossing guards work in all types of weather, so applicants have to be willing to deal with rain, snow, and heat.
