Girls cross-country takes first place in the Orange Invitational.

Girls Cross Country

The girls team took first place in the Orange Invitational on Saturday, and for the first time in team history, they also won four of the top 10 spots on their way to winning both the team championship and the individual championship.

Grace Jenkins led the race, with Morgan Hansen and Madeline Lee, who set new personal records in the 5K. Madeline Lee, Nora Lee and Brittany Antognazzi all finished in the top 11 to help lead the team to victory.

Boys Cross Country

On Saturday, the Demons placed second out of four teams competing in the Orange Invitational. The team tied Beachwood for first place, but lost the tie-breaker.

Jon Simon placed third overall, followed by Daniel Squeri in fourth place and Ian Hulse in sixth.

Varsity Football

The Demons are 1-1 for the season after . Kyle Perkins had two touchdown catches from Phil Brusk.

Junior Varsity Football

The JV Demons team is 1-1 for the season after defeating Bay Village 44-8.

Girls Golf

The girls golf team is 5-1 for the season in the Southwest Conference after defeating Olmsted Falls 197 to 213. Loren Kreider led the Demons with a 44.

Boys Golf

The boys team is 2-1 for the season in the Southwest Conference.

Boys Soccer

The varsity boys soccer team beat Lakewood 2-1 and tied against Avon Lake 1-1.

Girls Soccer

The varsity team lost to Copley 1-0 and won against Avon Lake High School 5-0.
