Driver Passes Out In Construction Zone After Using Drugs: Police
Westlake police said a woman was found passed out in a construction zone after she used narcotics.
WESTLAKE, OH — A woman was found passed out in her car last week. Police believe the woman used narcotics before offices arrived on the scene.
At 11 p.m. on Aug. 3, callers reported a car had stopped in a construction zone on Hilliard Boulevard, near Columbia Road. When police arrived, they saw a woman slumped in the driver's seat.
Officers were able to rouse the woman, but she appeared lethargic, according to a police spokesperson. There were signs of "illicit drug use in plain view," police said.
