Drunken Driver Drove Over Curbs, Sidewalk In Westlake: Police
Police said they found the damaged car parked the wrong way on Crocker Road at 4 a.m.

WESTLAKE, OH — Police took a woman into custody after she parked her disabled car on Crocker Road, with the car facing the wrong direction.
Callers began reporting a car facing the wrong way on Crocker Road at 4 a.m. on May 12. When police arrived, the driver was stumbling around the car. Three of the tires on the car were flat and had bent rims.
Police determined the woman had driven her car over the curbs on Crocker and then driven on the sidewalk. The driver appeared to be intoxicated, police said.

When asked why her car was so badly damaged, the woman didn't know. She hazarded a guess, telling officers maybe it had been some sort of "vandalism." The story didn't appease police.
The driver, a 23-year-old North Olmsted woman, was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a vehicle impaired and failure to control her vehicle. She tested two times over the legal BAC limit at Westlake Police Station.
