Easter Egg Hunt Roundup

Here are some of the local upcoming Easter egg hunts.

The Easter Bunny is going to be a busy guy over the next few weeks. He has a lot of places to be before Easter Sunday. Here are a few of the places you can find him, or at least his goodies, around town.

Where:

When: March 31, 1 p.m.

What: The annual scramble for eggs and wrapped candy will kick off with a hunt for children 4 to 6 at 1 p.m., followed by anotehr at 1:30 for ages 7 to 10. Kids up to age 3 can take part in the non-competitive hunt at the same time.

Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be passing out candy, and will be happy to stop for photos. There will also be face painting, a raffle and more fun.

Easter Egg Hunt at Crocker Park

Where: Learning Express Toys

When: March 31, 11 a.m. and April 1, 2 p.m.

What: Collect coupons and candy, and search for the golden egg. Be sure to bring your own basket. The hunt is preceeded by a breakfast with the Easter Bunny at .

Eggstravaganza

Where: Lake Erie Nature & Science Center

When: April 1 at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. for ages 1 to 5, and 3 p.m. for ages 5 to 8.

What: The center wil host a hunt for eggs, including a special golden egg which can be traded for a prize. There will also be a chance to visit live bunnies after the hunt. Call (440) 871-2900 to register in advance.

Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Pup Party

Where:

When: April 16, 1 to 4 p.m.

What: Even Fido can get some face time with the big bunny. Hunts are ongoing, with registration beginning at 1, and the first hunt kicking off at 1:15. Each egg has a prize, and golden eggs mean bigger prizes. The family that collects the most eggs wins a prize basket. There will also be other games and prizes.
