Rocky River Chamber Music Society Concert

The Rocky River Chamber Music Society presents the fourth concert of its 53rd season on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the acoustically excellent sanctuary of West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church, 20401 Hilliard Blvd., Rocky River, OH.  This concert features the WESTERN WIND QUINTET in 19^th – 21^st century works written or arranged for Wind instruments.  Members of the ensemble are Sandra Fernandez, guest flute; Michael Miller, oboe; Bradley Wong, clarinet; Lin Foulk, horn; and Wendy Rose, bassoon.  The Western Wind Quintet originated in 1966 at Western Michigan University as a resident faculty ensemble in the School of Music.  As with all RRCMS concerts, there is no admission charge and all ages are welcome.  The fifth and last concert of this season features Daniel Shapiro, piano performing with Mitchell Newman, violin on April 23, 2012.  See the Society's website at www.rrcms.org or call 440-937-6167 for more information.
