Why go: Who doesn’t love a classic Disney movie? An outdoor showing of Aladdin is a great way to wrap up summer. Make some popcorn and head to Crocker Park to enjoy the last bit of warm weather before fall sets in. Plus, it’s a great movie for all ages, so bring the family!

Where/When: / Friday 2-4 p.m.
Why go: If your kid is bound to be a future architect with the LEGO creations you’ve seen him or her build, then sign up right now! Registration is open until 1 p.m. the day of the contest and awards will be given based on originality, creativity, and cooperation. Judging will be done in two categories: ages 6-8 and 9-12. Bricks are provided!
MUSIC IN THE PARK: JUKE HOUNDS
Where/When: / Saturday 6-8:30 p.m.
Why go: Juke Hounds is a “rust belt blues and rock” group and promises to put on a great show. Perfect for the family or a date! Grab some ice cream at Coldstone or a smoothie from Liquid Planet and just enjoy being outside on a nice evening.
Where/When: BAYarts/ Sunday 7-9 p.m.
Why go: Kristine Jackson is Cleveland-based blues artist with a folksy/acoustic sound. She has been recognized by magazines and has won several blues competitions. Jackson has played at many a festival, cook-off, and brew, so she’s clearly a fan-favorite. And this is the last concert of the BAYarts summer concert series, so be there!
Where/When: Westlake High School Performing Arts Center/ Sunday 3:30 p.m., doors open at 3:10 p.m.
Why go: Come see this exciting dance performance! There will be classic Indian dancing and attire. Indian dance is upbeat and lively, so it’s a show you won’t want to miss. This is a rare event, so take advantage and check it out!
