Police said two men were taken into custody for felony weapons violations.
WESTLAKE, OH — Police found guns, suspected marijuana, a scale and cash during a traffic stop in Westlake.
At 1 a.m. on Friday, officers stopped a car in the parking lot of the Double Tree Hotel because of a license plate problem. There were four people inside the car, including a 2-year-old child.
The child was not properly restrained, police said, and a 27-year-old in the backseat had a handgun poking out of his pocket. Officers learned the man had a prior felony conviction and was barred from owning a handgun.
