Heart & Harvest Festival Returns In Westlake

The sixth annual festival will offer clambakes, live music and a chance to win $10,000.

WESTLAKE, OH — The Heart & Harvest Festival will return to St. Bernadette's in Westlake in early September, the church announced. This year's festivities will include a $10,000 grand prize raffle.

The festival will be held September 6 and September 7 at the parish, 2256 Clague Road. Tickets for the festival are already on sale.

The party will start on Friday at 5 p.m. Attendees can take eat up at a clambake (RSVPs required), drink at a beer tent, listen to live music by the Sloppy Joe band and Muhammad & Co. Jazz Ensemble, buy into raffles and prize giveaways, play with fate at a "casino," and kids can enjoy activities designed for children. Friday night's events end at 11 p.m.

On Saturday, the festival will start at 5 p.m. Sloppy Joe and Muhammad & Co. will perform again for festival attendees. The beer tent will be on hand, as will the "casino," kids games, and food services. The grand prize raffle drawing for $10,000 will be held at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets for the clambake meals are $28 and include one dozen middle neck clams, roasted chicken, sweet potato, sweet corn, coleslaw and a dinner roll. An extra 12 clams can be purchased a la carte for $9. Clambake tickets must be purchased by September 3. Tickets can be purchased online.
