Hello Kitty Café Truck To Make One Northeast Ohio Stop

There are only two Hello Kitty Café trucks in the U.S. Fans will be able to buy sweet desserts when the truck rolls into town on Saturday.

WESTLAKE, OH — One of the nation's only Hello Kitty Café trucks will roll into Crocker Park on Saturday. The rare appearance is the only Greater Cleveland stop the truck will make, so fans will want to build their schedule around the truck.

The Hello Kitty Café will be posted at Crocker Park from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The truck will be located between Nordstrom Rack and Regal Cinemas, roughly in the area of 236 Market St. Westlake.

The Hello Kitty truck was launched in 2014 during the Hello Kitty Convention. Since then, a second truck has been added to the fleet and the two vehicles criss-cross the nation stopping for about a day in various spots.

The truck offers both desserts (we'll talk about those in a second) and exclusive, collectible merchandise for collectors. An email from a Crocker Park staffer said that sales of merchandise from the truck would only last as long as supplies.

In terms of sweet treats, the truck sells cookies, macarons and Hello Kitty pocket pie. Food purchases of $25 or more will get the buyer a complimentary mini-tote bag.

The Hello Kitty trucks won't make another appearance in Ohio until the end of April, when they'll head to Cincinnati. That is the last Ohio stop currently on the trucks' schedule.
