Heroin User Steals Purse From Westlake Salon

The woman told police she thought the purse looked nice and probably had cash, which would help pay for Christmas.

WESTLAKE, OH — Two wanted women were caught by Westlake Police after they stole a purse from a woman visiting a local hair salon. One of the suspects told police she figured she could get a "lot of money" for Christmas from the purse.

While visiting Center Ridge Road Hair Salon, a woman had her purse stolen. Inside the purse were cash and credit cards, police said.

Employees at the salon noticed two women loitering around the purse before the theft, but didn't think anything of it. Surveillance footage from inside the business helped police identify the two women suspected of stealing the purse.
