Hurricane Harvey Relief: Westlake School Group Leads Collection
The Dover Intermediate School Service Club worked with local groups to collect 900 pounds of relief supplies.

WESTLAKE, OH — The Houston-area was devastated by Hurricane Harvey. At least 38 people were killed by the store and 32,000 residents were forced into shelters during the storm. It may end up as the most expensive and devastating storm in U.S. history.
To help relief and rebuilding efforts, the Dover Intermediate School Service Club (DISC), in partnership with some local groups, collected 900 pounds of food, diapers and other necessities. All of the items will be shipped to the Houston-area.
Some of the relief items will also be taken directly to Houston Food Bank, in Texas, thanks to the donation of a truck and shipping costs from Partnership LLC of Westlake.
